EJOT® Iso-Bar ECO wins the DETAIL Product Award 2021

For the second year in a row, EJOT won the race for one of the coveted DETAIL Product Awards. In cooperation with archipinion, the renowned architecture magazine DETAIL awards this prize annually to the most innovative building products, systems and materials. The jury, made up of representatives from the DETAIL editorial team and interior designers, architects and planners, rated the submitted products according to their design, innovative character, functionality, sustainability and integration capability. Iso-Bar ECO won the "Facade" category.

Flexible greening of ETICS facades
The EJOT Iso-Bar ECO is a thermally separated fastening element for subsequent and therefore flexible fastening on thermally insulated facades. When it comes to facades with External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS), the main focus is not only on secure fastening of the greening system, but also on installation in the surface optimised for thermal bridging and reliable sealing to prevent any moisture from getting in. EJOT meets this challenge with a new complete system for facade greening, as the reinforced glass fibre plastic of the Iso-Bar ECO provides minimal thermal bridge effect. This way, unnecessary heat losses can be avoided.

One system, a wide range of design possibilities
As well as the essential Iso-Bar ECO fastening element, EJOT's portfolio also offers several other parts such as the appropriate round strand rope, various rope crosses for a wide range of requirements, and corresponding climbing rungs. Depending on the type of plant you choose, various geometric rope guidance formations can be achieved with this system. The Iso-Bar ECO is installed using injection mortar and it can be fixed into concrete as well as into solid and perforated brick and aerated concrete, and can transfer high loads. The possibility of cutting to length on site to suit the insulation thickness enables the realisation of a lean product range. The Iso-Bar ECO is available in four lengths and thus ensures a completely flexible usage on-site.
